Friday Focus: Siblings Project March

Dear friend,

Welcome to my new Photo series Friday Focus. I love capturing the ordinary moments and special times with my camera, looking at our life through a lens gives me a clearer focus.

This week's Friday Focus is Forest fun and is this months entry into the Siblings Project. I took this series of shots on a Sunday morning walk in the forest. The boys spent the first part of the walk playing Pokémon Go! This game has come back into favour this month with the introduction of new characters and it is all the boys want to do. Mummy had to have a little wobble to get them to stop but once they did the fun began.

It wasn't long before these two started chasing each other around with sticks and we had a fun family hide and seek game too. They had to climb every fallen tree and sit on every bench and little man admired all the dogs on their walks. He was particularly taken with a Shih Tzu and shouted look mummy a shitty zoo (thanks to top trumps dogs which he got for his birthday and they have been playing non-stop) the laugher that followed made my sides hurt.

Most of the walk was spent shooting each other with stick weapons, big lad had a crossbow and little man a sword, or chasing each other around. Which of course resulted in injuries but always with a concerned; Sorry bro, are you alright?

This month has been all about games and playing together.

Now I'll let my photos do the talking...

Happy Days!
